Learners of Leisure Industry Academy
Leisure Industry Academy became a centre with Focus Awards in March 2015, their approval was subject to a number of conditions. Focus Awards worked tirelessly to ensure Leisure Industry Academy were able to meet our minimum standards. Unfortunately, and despite our best efforts, sufficient progress did not materialise. Accordingly, and due to the nature and severity of our concerns, an Investigation for Maladministration commenced. Following an announcement of our findings to Leisure Industry Academy, they opted to give notice to terminate their working relationship with Focus Awards.
Subsequently the company has ceased to trade and Focus Awards has received quite a number of enquiries from concerned learners. Understandably, learners require certification for learning that can be evidenced.
In an effort to ensure learners of Leisure Industry Academy receive recognition for their achievements, and to comply with our duty to protect the interests of learners, Focus Awards welcomes direct communication from the learners of Leisure Industry Academy. We will work directly with registered learners to ensure where evidence is provided of satisfactory completion, either of particular units or full qualifications, we will provide certification.
Affected learners should contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm if they are registered and receive information on how to achieve certification.
Introducing the new E-Certificate
Focus Awards is committed to innovation and assisting our centres in increasing profitability, reducing costs, and most importantly keeping their learners happy. It is with great pleasure we are able to announce the immediate availability of E-Certificates!
E-Certificates are a great way to speed up the certification process and reducing the costs associated with the postage and packing. The certificates are secure with QR code technology built in; when accessed it shows the learner and certificate details ensuring validity.
Centres are able to benefit from the ‘best of both worlds’ – simply toggle your preference in ‘Qualitas’.
