Focus Awards Level 2 Award for British Weight Lifting Technical Officials (RQF)

The aim of this qualification is to understand the role of an official at British Weight Lifting events and to understand weightlifting officiating duties. Learners will also understand the weightlifting officiating rules and general weightlifting rules and requirements.
This qualification is aimed at those looking to develop their skills as a technical official for competitions. This qualification is suitable for those who are new to officiating but have some knowledge of the sport and would like to learn how to apply that in an officiating role.
To successfully achieve this qualification learners must complete the mandatory unit and one optional unit totaling ?? credits.
Learner Entry Requirements
Focus Awards do not set any entry requirements for the qualification; however, to deliver this qualification the trainer/centre must be approved by British Weight Lifting.
Learners wishing to progress from this qualification can undertake the following qualifications:
- Focus Awards Level 3 Award for British Weight Lifting Technical officials (RQF)
Learners should be a minimum of 16 years to undertake this qualification.
This qualification is available in England and Northern Ireland.
