The Focus Awards Level 2 Award in Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events (RQF) is aimed at those learners who wish to work as a steward at spectator events, including sport events, music festivals, concerts parades or carnivals.
The Focus Awards Level 2 Award in Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events (RQF) covers preparing for spectator events, entry, exit and movement of spectators, responding to potential crowd problems and responding to injuries, illness and other emergencies in active leisure.
To successfully achieve this qualification, learners must complete all 4 mandatory units totaling 5 credits
Learner entry requirements
There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification.
Learners wishing to progress from this qualification can undertake the following qualifications:
- Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Spectator Safety
- Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Spectator Safety
- Level 4 NVQ Certificate in Spectator Safety Management
- License to Practice qualifications e.g. Door Supervision or Security Guarding
Entry is at the discretion of the centre; however learners should be 16 to undertake this qualification.
