Qualification Overview

The Focus Awards Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Fitness Pilates) (RQF) is aimed at those learners who work or want to work in the Exercise and Fitness sector, specifically in Fitness Pilates. The qualification will enable learners to plan and instruct Fitness Pilates sessions.

Qualification Structure

To successfully achieve the Focus Awards Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Fitness Pilates) (RQF), learners must complete all the mandatory units totalling 24 Credits.

Learner Entry Requirements

Focus Awards does not set any other entry requirements, but additional criteria may be requested or specified by the centre.

Progression Routes

Learners wishing to progress from this qualification can undertake the following qualifications:

• Focus Awards Level 3 Diploma Master in Gym Instructing and Personal Training (RQF)
• Focus Awards Level 3 Certificate in Planning and Delivering Personal Training (RQF)
• Focus Awards Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Instructing Exercise and Fitness (RQF)

Age Ranges

Entry is at the discretion of the centre; however, learners should be at least 16 to undertake this qualification
