The Focus Awards Level 3 Certificate in Supporting the Delivery of Physical Education and Schools Sport (RQF) is aimed at those learners currently working or wishing to work in a physical education and school sport setting.

The purpose of the Focus Awards Level 3 Certificate in Supporting the Delivery of Physical Education and School Sport (RQF) is to provide leaners with the knowledge and understanding of delivering physical education and programmes with in schools. The qualification prepares learners for employment within a school sports environment, and covers communication and professional relationships, understanding child and young person development, safeguarding, planning, delivery and reviewing Physical Education and School Sport Programme

 

 

Qualification Structure

To successfully achieve this qualification, learners must complete 8 mandatory units achieving a total of 28 credits.

Focus Awards does not set any other entry requirements but training providers or colleges may have their own guidelines.

Learners wishing to progress from this qualification can undertake the following qualification:

  • Level 2 Certificate Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

 

 

Age Ranges

Entry is at the discretion of the centre; however, learners should be at least 16 to undertake the qualification.
