Qualification Overview

The aim of this qualification is to develop the learner’s knowledge of aromatherapy oils and using them to provide massage. The qualification will also prepare the learner with work-based capability and knowledge through developing their ability to adapt the provision of client care, and their communication skills, to the needs of different clients. Learners will also understand how to manage client expectations.

Qualification Structure

To achieve this qualification the learner must complete all mandatory units achieving a total of 12 credits.

Learner Entry Requirements

Learners must have prior knowledge of anatomy and physiology at Level 2, other entry requirements are at the discretion of the centre.

Progression Routes

Learners wishing to progress from this qualification can undertake the following qualifications:

• Focus Awards Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy
• Focus Awards Level 3 Certificate in Fashion and Photography Make-up
• Focus Awards Level 3 Diploma in Make-up Artistry

Age Ranges

Entry is at the discretion of the centre; however, learners should be a minimum of 16 yeras old to undertake this qualification.
