Qualification Overview

The Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Micropigmentation (RQF) is aimed at those learners who are experienced beauty therapists and looking to add a specialism to their portfolio of skills.  

The purpose of Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Micropigmentation (RQF) aims to provide learners with the knowledge, understanding, and skills needed to prepare and provide safe micropigmentation treatment.

Qualification Structure

To successfully achieve the Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Micropigmentation (RQF) learners must complete all the mandatory units totalling 32 credits.

Learner Entry Requirements

A learner must have previously completed a Level 3 Beauty Therapy related qualification. Other than this, Focus Awards do not set any other entry requirements for the qualification; however, other requirements may be required by the centre.

Progression Routes

Learners wishing to progress from this qualification can undertake the following qualifications:

• Level 4 Certificate in Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Treatments
• Level 4 Award in Physiology for Advanced Beauty Therapy
• Level 4 Certificate in Salon Management
• Level 4 Diploma in Permanent Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation
• Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Beauty Therapy
• Level 4 Diploma in Salon Management

Age Ranges

Entry is at the discretion of the centre; however, learners should be a minimum of 18 years old to undertake this qualification.
